Kimberley’s Bakeshoppe was new to social media. The brand wanted to grow their audience to 50,000 fans in 8 months. KIK created a strategy to help them achieve their goal. The plan included: an influencer campaign, blogger program, ongoing social media content, consumer campaigns, on pack advertising and Facebook ads.
The first consumer campaign encouraged fans to fill out a short, fun quiz to find out their cupcake personality. After the quiz was completed fans were encouraged to share their results with their friends. Everyone who participated in the quiz was entered weekly into a draw to win prizes such as coupons for free product and gift cards to Crate and Barrel.
Today Kimberley’s Bakeshoppe has over 74,000 Facebook fans and continues to delight their fans with relevant, engaging content.
